			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are a lot of great <a href="http://www.tasty.com/cookies">chocolate chip cookie</a> recipes out there and there are also some not so great ones. I have been searching for the best chocolate chip cookie recipe for a long time and have finally found it. It&#8217;s fairly simple to make and it really is the best one I have found. I hope you enjoy it.</p>
<p>This chocolate chip cookie recipe will make about <strong>4 dozen</strong> amazing chocolate chip cookies.</p>
<p><strong>Here are the ingredients you will need:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3/4      cup granulated sugar</li>
<li>3/4      cup packed brown sugar</li>
<li>1         cup butter or margarine, softened</li>
<li>1         egg</li>
<li>2 1/4   cups of all-purpose flour</li>
<li>1         teaspoon baking soda</li>
<li>1/2      teaspoon salt</li>
<li>1         cup coarsely chopped nuts (if you want nuts in yours)</li>
<li>1         package (12 ounces) of chocolate chips (2 cups) &#8211; I prefer milk chocolate chips, but you can use semisweet ones as well.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Here is how you put it all together:</strong></p>
<p>1.    Heat your oven to 375ºF.<br />
2.    Combine sugars, butter and egg in a large bowl. Stir in the flour, baking soda and salt (dough should be stiff). Mix in the chocolate chips, and nuts if you like.<br />
3.    Make tablespoon sized balls and drop them about 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.<br />
4.    Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until light brown (centers should be soft). Let them cool a little then remove them from the cookie sheet. Finally, cool them on a wire cooling rack.</p>
<p>Now eat them all as fast as you can and pass this chocolate chip cookie recipe on to your friends!</p>
